Greed, love and revolution always make theater.

Audiences get it all during the seventh annual teen summer stock production of “Urinetown: the Musical”, which runs July 14 through July 17 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta in the Morris and Rae Frank Theatre, 5342 Tilly Mill Rd. in Dunwoody.

The satire is set during a time when there is a terrible water shortage caused by a 20-year drought. The shortage leads to a government-enforced ban on private toilets and water is worth its weight in gold. Some people, though, fight to make sure society doesn’t go down the drain.

The show is directed by Brian Kimmel with choreography by Eileen Edwards and music direction by John-Michael D’Havilland.
