This weekend is the perfect time to buy energy and water efficient products for your house

If you want to make your home greener, this weekend is the time to do it.

According to a press release from the state of Georgia, Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 will be a sales tax holiday on certain types of products bought for noncommercial home or personal use.

These include Energy Star products under $1,500 such as:

• Air conditioners

• Ceiling fans

• Clothes washers

• Dehumidifiers

• Dishwashers

• Doors

• Fluorescent light bulbs

• Doors

• Refrigerators

• Windows

WaterSense products under $1,500 such as:

• Bathroom sink faucets and accessories

• High-efficiency toilets

• High-efficiency urinals
