Just about every day there's a heartwarming story of a child meeting Santa, and they're showing the true meaning of the season.
Recently a little boy in South Carolina asked Santa for a precious gift, not what many 4-year-olds would ask for.
Prestyn Barnette asked the man in red to kneel and pray for a small child Prestyn doesn't know, who is fighting a battle to survive, WIS reported.
Prestyn apparently found out about Knox, a 2-month-old baby who is on life support in Las Vegas.
Knox was found last month unresponsive in his crib. He had stopped breathing. His father performed CPR until medical crews arrived. He is currently in a children's hospital in Las Vegas.
Prestyn found out about Knox's story from a Facebook prayer group his grandmother belongs to.
On Sunday, he decided to ask Santa to pray for Knox hoping that if Santa would lend his plea, it would help, WIS reported.
Santa did get down and held Prestyn as they both prayed for Knox.
The moment was caught on camera.
