Watch touching video of Atlanta patients surprising NICU nurse

A slew of former patients and their families surprised local neonatal nurse Renee Hendrix in a touching video released this week by Kleenex in honor of Neonatal Nurses Day.

Hendrix is a neonatal nurse at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. For the past 33 years, the Atlanta resident has gone to work each day “hoping to make a difference in someone’s life.”

This video shows what a difference she has made and how much she has meant to her patients and their families.

The video is part of program at Kleenex that includes documentary-style videos featuring local stories they've identified from across the nation that tap into some of the most emotional topics.
