A piece of New York has come to Ponce City Market.
Ponce City Nights, an offshoot of Chelsea Nights at Chelsea Market in New York City, launched earlier this month with local acts Small Reactions, Book of Colors and Floral Print.
On Thursday, folk-pop singer Kristen Englenz and the Atlanta-based indie folk collective the Good Graces performed. The Ponce City Market Facebook page will keep music fans apprised of upcoming talent.
The all-ages concerts are free and take place 6:30-8:30 p.m. every other Thursday in the courtyard or Central Food Hall.
PCM also will present the return of Party at Ponce 5-11 p.m. Oct. 10.
Atlanta mainstays the Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins and David Ryan Harris will hit the stage at 8 p.m.; prior to that, guests can sample tastings from more than 30 culinary experts, including Pano I. Karatassos, Anne Quatrano and Sean Brock.
General admission tickets for the 21-and-older event are $95, which includes the chef tastings and concert (cash bars will be available). The price will increase to $105 Oct. 2. Tickets can be purchased at partyatponce.net. Proceeds from the show will benefit Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Georgia Organics, the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and Museum of Design Atlanta via Jamestown Charitable Foundation.
Self-parking and valet parking passes are in limited supply but are available for $10 and $15, respectively.
PCM also will celebrate its first Halloween with a musical backdrop when Quiet Hounds play the Masque party 8-11 p.m. Oct. 31. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $75 for the show and after-party combo. Visit poncecitymarket.com to purchase tickets.
