A new mural inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium pays tribute to the “spirits and stories” of Atlanta’s Westside.

Unveiled earlier this week in partnership with Living Murals, the mural is titled “The Story Teller.”

The large-scale installation at the stadium’s AT&T Perch is the work of Atlanta artist Neka King.

The mural, painted in bright hues of red, green, yellow and blue, features a bird and a number of silhouettes.

The partnership between AT&T and Living walls is meant “to shine a light on talented local Atlanta artists,” according to a press release.

“Art has such a powerful way to connect with people, and this project will be able to connect with the thousands who visit the stadium,” Living Walls wrote on Instagram.

Before’s King’s mural was unveiled, a piece by artist Faatimah Stevens titled “Above & Beyond” was in the same space. Stevens’ work will now be auctioned off to benefit a local charity.

The partnership is part of AT&T’s “Believe Atlanta” project, which focuses on “celebrating leaders” and creating change in the city’s Westside neighborhoods.

King, the Atlanta-based artist who created the new mural, also created the "Peaceful Peach" mural on Forsyth Street downtown.
