Starting July 15, McDonald’s will phase out it’s McCafé bakery products, including the apple fritter, blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll.

It’s a move the company says was based on customer feedback.

“We’re always listening to our fans and adjusting our menu based on what they crave,” the company said in the statement to USA TODAY.

While the company may be relying on sales data, fans of the pastries were outraged. One Twitter user claimed this was “McDonald’s worst decision in years,” while another warned “there will be chaos.”

“We know goodbyes are never easy — but fans can still satisfy their sweet tooth with our iconic Chocolate Chip Cookies, Baked Apple Pie, and frozen desserts at restaurants nationwide,” the fast food giant annouonced.

The McCafé bakery items were first introduced in 2020.

While McDonald’s says goodbye to some items, they’re introducing others: A new Cookies & Cream Pie is currently available at select locations in Oklahoma, New Jersey, and Ohio, ahead of a possible nationwide rollout.

Fans can still take advantage of the soon-to-be-discontinued items until July 15
