Two employees at the Mars Wrigley factory in Pennsylvania had to be rescued by first responders after falling into a chocolate tank on Thursday.

EMS were called to the scene around 2 p.m.

“They were up to their waist in chocolate,” said Lancaster County-Wide Communications in a statement to People Magazine.

Both employees at the Elizabethtown factory reported no injuries at the scene, and rescue workers were able to get them out by cutting a hole into the side of the tank. It was unclear how the employees ended up in the tank.

Many on the internet pointed out the similarities between this story and the fate of one of the characters in Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”

Although there were no injuries, they were both transported to the hospital.

“We’re extremely grateful for the quick work of the first responders,” said a representative from Mars Wrigley.
