A week dedicated just to self-pampering?

Sign us up.

Actually, the folks behind the biannual Spa Week have somewhat loftier motivations, having pointed to information showing that "natural healing methods are on the rise as antidotes for an over-connected, demanding world."

That can certainly describe life in metro Atlanta.

From Oct. 15 - 21, hundreds of spas around the country will offer certain services for $50. That’s a discount of hundreds of dollars in some cases.

A number of spas in and around metro Atlanta are taking part, including The Posh Spot in Atlanta, Natural Body Spa and Shop in Smyrna and Angela Michael Skincare & Spa in Dunwoody.

For a complete list of participating spas and the specific services being offered at each location, visit www.spaweek.com.

That website is also where you’ll make reservations for Spa Week Fall 2018 appointments.
