Wine Tasting Wednesday (Woodruff Arts Center)
Table 1280 at 5:30 p.m. As part of the series, guests will receive 10 wine tastes for $15.

Thursday, August 13 -- Eats & Beats (Buckhead)
Buckhead Theatre at 7 p.m. Atlanta Resaurants including the Watershed on Peachtree, Food 101, Cibo e Beve and Cook Hall are joining together along with Children of Conservation and The Giving Kitchen to provide food and drinks set to the tune of Beatles cover songs. Friday, August 14 -- TomatoJam (Vinings)
South City Kitchen Vinings all day. For a limited time, South City Kitchen in Vinings will be offering a tomato-themed menu featuring tomato pie, sliced heirloom tomato and heriloom tomato risotto in addition to pork chop, trout and hanger steak.The restaurant's regular menu will also be available to customers. Saturday, August 15 -- Dinner and After Party (Buckhead)
Watershed on Peachtree from evening until 1 a.m. After dining on a seasonally inspired dinner prepared by Watershed chefs and stay for the after party with DJ Yvonne Monet, complete with cocktails and bar snacks. Sunday, August 16 -- Give Me Five dinner (Midtown)
Piedmont Driving Club at 5 p.m. Eat a delicious meal and help a charity all in one night. The annual Give Me Five dinner, which allows guests to sample dishes from Atlanta chefs and sommeliers, donates portions of their sales to Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception, a five-course dinner and a silent auction throughout the night. Tickets are $275 and can be purchased here.
Sunday, August 16 -- Wine Tasting (Buckhead)
Portofino at 6:30 p.m. Every third Sunday of the month, Portofino hosts a private wine tasting with expert Michael Gallant featuring 12 carefully selected wines presented in four flights and a selection of light appetizers from executive chef Matt Marcus. Sunday's selection highlights wines from France. Admission is $35 include tax and gratuity.
Monday, August 17 -- Beer Dinner (Marietta)
Stem Wine Bar at 6:30 p.m. What's better than a five course meal? Local brews to go with it. Doug Turbush, owner and chef at Seed Kitchen & Bar, along with beverage manager Chris McNeill is working with Terrapin Beer Co. to match local beer with his five-course meal items. The dinner features spiced tuna tartare, duck confit fritters, shrimp and caviar, Cheshire pork loin and poached peaches. Terrapin brand ambassador Austin Walker will be in the audience to discuss the beers with guests. Tickets, which are $69 per person, can be purchased here.
Monday, August 17 -- Chef demonstration and Tasting (Decatur)
The Cook's Warehouse at 7 p.m. Chef Billy Allen of Cakes & Ale is teaching how to cook sustainable food using ingredients best served during the summer. Menu items include shrimp, tomatoes, prosciutto and ratatouille followed by baker Abagail Quinn's dessert. The evening also offers wine tastings sponsored by Sherlock's Wine Merchant and a chance to win tasty door prizes provided by Bella Cucina Artful Foods and Cabot Cheese. Tickets are $55.
Tuesday, August 18 -- Jittery Joe's summer coffee (Buckhead)
The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you haven't had a chance to stop by Atlanta's only Jittery Joe's coffee shop, now is the time. Their inaugural Frosty Joe's were recently released, and flavors such as vanilla, caramel, mocha and nutella are the perfect way to beat the heat.
