The 10-episode series was created by former “How I Met Your Mother” actor Jason Segel, who also stars in it.
The series follows four people who can’t quite identify what they feel is missing in their lives. They’re brought together when they stumble upon a puzzle hiding behind the veil of ordinary life. As they accept the challenges from Dispatches from Elsewhere, they discover mystery is embedded deeper than they had pictured.
News of Andre 3000's involvement in the series came in July. At the time, the rapper went viral after he was seen playing the flute at the airport in Philadelphia. Philly is where filming occurred for the new show, which is executive produced by Alethea Jones.

Three Stack’s role in “Dispatches…” adds to his resume of on-screen gigs. They include a stint on ABC’s “American Crime,” playing late icon Jimi Hendrix in 2013’s biopic “Jimi: All Is By My Side,” and a role in the 2006 film, “Idlewild.”
But while Andre 3000’s acting jobs grow, he’s put music on the back burner.
The “Roses” performer said on Rick Rubin's podcast, "Broken Record," that despite his desire to create, he hasn’t been “making much music.”
"My focus is not there, my confidence is not there. ... I haven’t been motivated enough to make a serious project,” he said. “I’d like to, but it’s just — it’s just not coming."
