The Marin Humane Society discovered she recently had puppies that were too young to be separated from their mother.

"After some detective work and a lot of convincing, our team was able to get the person who surrendered the dogs to also surrender the puppies, as they still needed their momma and were not in a safe situation," the shelter said.

The reunion between the mother dog and her puppies was recorded on video and has over 3 million views.

The mother, who arrived at the shelter scared, becomes relaxed and excited in the video.

A shelter worker brought out four puppies -- three males and one female -- from a carrier, and the mother dog began wagging her tail and running over to greet her pups.

The mother dog, named Cora, was so excited to be reunited with her puppies that she checked to see if more were in the carrier.

The Huffington Post reported that the puppies and their mother are doing well and are in a foster home.

The puppies, named Carson, Moseley, Branson and Edith, will be up for adoption soon.
