Universal Parks is teaming up with video game legend Nintendo to bring the games to life in the form of rides.

The companies, in a joint statement, said "Nintendo has created remarkable and imaginative worlds filled with captivating stories and beloved characters. Now, for the first time, those stories and characters will be brought to life in entirely new ways - only at Universal theme parks."

There's no word on what rides and attractions are being planned and when they will open.

Wednesday, Universal Studios announced a new King Kong attraction.

IcFlorida reported "Skull Island: Reign of Kong" will open in summer 2016.

Universal theme parks are located in both Orlando and Hollywood.
