"Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak was visibly confused this week when a contestant guessed some very unusual letters during the lightning round of the game-show.
Nura Foutana guessed "X" and "Z," then passed on guesses altogether.
At the end of the round, which Foutana won, Sajak spoke to the woman about her interesting guesses.
"You called some unusual letters in that round," he said.
"That's what I saw," Foutana said.
Some social media users believe Foutana purposely lost the round so that her fellow contestants would not go home empty handed.
Others have speculated that by guessing random letters, she was actually minimizing how much she helped the other contestants while they did all the work to solve the puzzle.
Foutana and her fellow contestants are all service members that competed during the show's Veteran's Week.
