Rolling Stones to offer concertgoers rare treat with ‘Moonlight Mile’

The Rolling Stones are playing a 15-city arena tour in North America this summer. Concertgoers will hear the legendary band perform “Moonlight Mile” for the first time in years.

The Wall Street Journal refers to it as the "eclectic road song." The tune closed the 1971 album "Sticky Fingers," which is being reissued as a 2-CD set with bonus material on June 9.

While many fans assumed the lyrics had to do with drug use, Mick Jagger recently said in an interview that the song is about the loneliness of being on the road while touring and the anticipation of returning home.
