As Muhammad Ali's public memorial service takes place in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, June 10, fans elsewhere will likely be looking for a way to celebrate the former boxer's legacy.

Local Regal Cinemas are screening "Ali" in an attempt to help fans do just that.

The  2001 film starred Will Smith as Ali from 1964-1974, featuring his fight against Sonny Liston to claim the heavyweight title and his reclaiming of the title from George Foreman. Smith received a Best Actor nomination for his role in the film. He will serve as a pallbearer at Ali's funeral, according to the LA Times.

Much like screenings of "Purple Rain" following singer Prince's death, watching the film will allow people to revisit a popular moment in their fandom shortly after Ali's death.
