Miley Cyrus is getting ready to take on the music world again. She’s the cover girl for the latest issue of Billboard magazine where she speaks out about her career, politics and what’s going on in her personal life.

She told the entertainment magazine that she is trying to put aside her outlandish past, like the controversial bare-nearly-all costumes, larger than life props and her drug use, Entertainment Tonight reported.

She said she used to resist change. “But I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it]. I’m not doing drugs. I’m not drinking. I’m completely clean right now. That was just something that I wanted to do,” Cyrus told Billboard.

She will soon release her new single "Malibu," which she said is a love song about her fiance Liam Hemsworth. It will be released May 11 with her untitled album dropping later this year, ET reported.
