Cabbage Pie Cabbagetown
From the team behind Bantam Pub in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward, Cabbage Pie has opened in the former Village Pizza space on Carroll Street in Cabbagetown. Look for extensive renovations, a full bar, and a new menu from Bantam Pub chef Darvelio Ramirez. Junk Food at Joystick
Following the success of Illegal Food, the new incarnation of the "Kitchen Incubation Program" at Joystick Gamebar began on March 2 with chef Joey Zelinka's Junk Food. Zelinka, a Florida native, has cooked at OLA Miami, Rathbun's, 4th and Swift and Sound Table. The inspiration for Junk Food is "all of the food you loved as a child elevated to culinary art." Joshua Perkins to Ecco
Ecco in Midtown recently named Joshua Perkins its executive chef. In a release, Fifth Group Restaurants noted, "Perkins brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his role at Ecco," including stints at di Paolo, Brasserie Le Coze and Globe Restaurant and Lounge in Atlanta. Inman Park Restaurant Week
The spring session of Inman Park Restaurant Week 2015 runs March 9-15 with neighborhood favorites offering three-course prix fixe menus at $15, $25 and $35 per person.
