Villains opening in Midtown

Villains Wicked Heroes was set to open April 26 in Midtown for lunch and dinner, specializing in gourmet sandwiches, salads, cocktails and craft beer. Partners Alex Brounstein of Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Jared Lee Pyles of HD1 and Jason McClure of Flip will offer villain-named sandwiches like the "Kingpig of Crime" and the "Bugsy Siegel" and libations like the "Gamma Crush." 903 Peachtree St., Atlanta. 404-347-3328.

Ben’s Brown Bag Westside

Recently opened, Ben's Brown Bag has taken over the Howell Mill takeaway space formerly occupied by LeRoy's Chicken, and later Curly's Fried Chicken. Dante’s to close in July

After months of mixed messages, Dante Stephensen announced via Facebook that Dante's Down the Hatch will close July 31. The Buckhead restaurant, as beloved for its multilevel shipwreck atmosphere as for its fondue and wine menus, was an Atlanta destination for 43 years, and Stephensen was its iconic master of ceremonies. 3380 Peachtree Road N.E., Atlanta. 404-266-1600. Leon’s celebrates birthday

Seven Lamps wine dinner
