There was a time when those embarrassing moments that we all have in our private lives remained private.
That was before the Internet and YouTube.
The latest example is Bruce and Esther Huffman of McMinnville, Ore., two senior citizens who became a national sensation after their daughter posted on YouTube a video that the couple accidentally shot of themselves as they tried to figure out how to use the camera on their new computer.
The three-minute video features Bruce, 87, making monkey faces, singing ("Hello My Baby"), wisecracking and flirting with his wife of seven years, who's eight years his junior, as she fumbles with the computer, chomps chewing gum and expresses bewilderment with the modern marvel -- "I don't know what I'm recording -- shucks!"
The couple seems to be enjoying their "Andy Warhol 15 minutes of fame," as Bruce put it. They aren't angry with their daughter for posting the video -- in fact, they gave their consent and say they're glad they're giving people a laugh. And in an appearance Thursday on ABC's "Good Morning America," they poked fun at themselves.
Esther said she'd become something of a local celebrity in town, but Bruce, alas, couldn't say the same. The only people he'd heard from, he said, were "my doctor and somebody I owe money to."
