Monday night's episode of "Jon & Kate Plus 8," found the family split up between two parts of the country.

Kate Gosselin took her three sons to a Wyoming dude ranch, while her estranged hubby Jon stayed behind with their five daughters.

Kate and the boys took part in such activities as horseback riding and hiking, and Kate did a little target practice, learning how to shoot a gun.
