SANDY SPRINGS

Mitch Fatel at The Punchline

Off-color observations, a quick wit and a contagious smile all belong to funny man Mitch Fatel. The New York-bred Fatel got his start interning for shock jock Howard Stern. A bountiful career in comedy continues. He’s had most of the TV experiences that professional jokesters hope for by rubbing elbows with David Letterman, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. One of Fatel’s biggest accolades came in ’06 when he snagged best stand-up comedian honors at the Aspen Comedy Festival. Those who can’t catch him at The Punchline can get the next best thing by popping in his DVD “Mitch Fatel is Magical.”

8 and 10 p.m. Nov. 11; 7 and 9 p.m. Nov. 12. $20.25. The Punchline, 280 Hilderbrand Drive, Atlanta. 404-252-5233, www.punchline.com.
