USA may have dropped "Necessary Roughness" (shot here in Atlanta) after three seasons but it has another one-hour drama that will soon start production locally without a specific name just yet but was called 'Neil Inc." when it was a pilot.

The pilot was shot in December and the network liked it enough to give it a full season.

The series is executive produced by Sean Jablonski ("Suits," "Nip/Tuck"). It will debut this summer with 10 episodes.

Here's the description from the press release:

A provocative drama that explores a marriage that has grown stagnant, the untitled Sean Jablonski pilot follows investment banker Neil Truman  through the accidental discovery of his wife's involvement with a male escort.  When Neil gains possession of the escort's phone, he uncovers a unique perspective on his life and what motivates women to stray, as his wife Grace contemplates whether her needs are being met and if her marriage is worth saving.

Matt Passmore, who will play Neil, starred in A&E's "The Glades," which aired four seasons from 2010 until last year. The actress playing his wife, Stephanie Szostak, has never had a major TV role but appeared in the film "Devil Wears Prada."

This is from USA after the pick-up was announced Tuesday:

"This is a powerful new addition to our drama slate and marks the next generation of sophisticated storytelling for USA," said USA Network's president, Chris McCumber, in a statement. "Through a culturally resonant story of an imperfect marriage, the series takes a captivating look at real modern day issues facing couples in today's complicated world."
