"Scandal" star Kerry Washington is pregnant with second child: report

Kerry Washington is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

E! reports that the "Scandal" star, and mother to daughter Isabelle, is pregnant.

The news comes two weeks before the ABC show's season 5 finale.

Will Washington's pregnancy delay season 6 of "Scandal"?

According to TVLine, the network is considering pushing the season's premiere back to midseason. If this happens, fans would have to wait until 2017 to see more of Olivia Pope.

ABC is scheduled to release their fall schedule on May 17.

Don't be surprised if Washington doesn't confirm the pregnancy news anytime soon. The actress is known for being private.

After she gave birth in 2014, she was able to keep the news of Isabelle's arrival a secret for more than one week.
