Straight From the A reported a few days back that Phaedra Parks may take some time off from "Real Housewives of Atlanta" partly to deal with all the stress related from hubby Apollo Nida's impending eight-year imprisonment over bank and mail fraud and ID theft.
TMZ refuted Straight From the A by saying Parks is staying on the show and not taking a leave of absence. Then it basically repeated what Michelle Brown's site said by noting Parks may take time off for family business. Isn't that technically a "leave of absence"? I sense we're talking semantics.
Both sites say their marriage is shaky. She didn't show up to either of Nida's most recent criminal hearings.
She married Nida soon after he left prison in 2009. He started his illegal schemes that same year.
He has not entered prison yet but will start his sentence soon.

Kandi Burruss has seems easy going and thrifty though she has had a tendency to show up late to "Real Housewives" events, which might indicate a pickier persona than she seems on the surface.

Her "Mother's Love" stage tour rider,
, shows she likes her fast food but very particular fast food: Popeyes chicken - not Church's or KFC. The rider, notes, "we know the difference."
She also is very specific on the types of toilet paper (Cottonelle) and soap (Dove). Plus, she does not like her butt to meet those of others because she wants a new toilet seat at whatever venue she's at. Ironically, she demands a police escort to events so she wouldn't be late to her shows.
Her 29-city tour includes Columbus, Savannah and Albany. She debuted the stage show last fall in Atlanta.

NeNe Leakes, in the meantime, has been in a fight with Wendy Williams over personalizing a $10,000 Hermes Burkin bag. Williams on Twitter posted this: "Hot Question: What do think about @NeNeLeakes defacing her Birkin bag?"

But what you have chosen to do is constantly speak negative of me and lie on me! What you need to do is stop spewing hate! When it comes to gossip you are the lowest of the low!”
“I know you hate because I turned down the chance to come on your Talk Show and I am sure you’re scared I will take your place (I know you have heard! Ummhmm wink wink) BE SCARED! I have a clothing line on HSN coming out in a few days and I know it must be hard for a black woman to support another black woman but you should try it sometime,” she wrote.
