Former Atlantan

David Hasselhoff

, who left “America’s Got Talent” last year after four seasons, will be roasted August 15  on Comedy Central.

This should be easy. Expect an excess of “Baywatch,” “Knight Rider,” singing and alcoholism jokes. Here’s his quote from the press release:

"I'm honored that COMEDY CENTRAL is going to get 'Hoff' on me," said David Hasselhoff. "I have always been a major fan of Roasts, dating back to the days of the 'Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts.' Laughter is the best medicine. Bring it on! I'm ready to take the heat."

Who would be good to mock him? Pamela Anderson, a former roast subject herself, should show up. So should Sharon Osbourne. And you know Lisa Lampanelli and Greg Giraldo will come up with funny and crass material.

Comedy Central has pulled in some of its highest ratings roasting celebrities such as Alpharetta's Jeff Foxworthy, Denis Leary, Bob Saget and William Shatner.
