The Athens Banner Herald confirmed that University of Georgia Bulldog quarterback Aaron Murray's older brother Josh will be on the upcoming "Bachelorette" featuring Atlanta's Andi Dorfman.
"He left Sunday (for California) and had to give up all forms of communication," his mother Lauren Murray told the paper.
Josh Murray, 29, is also a UGA grad and played as a safety for the Bulldogs for two games as a senior. In a separate story, the newspaper noted that Josh, a financial advisor, has been living with his brother in Athens, at least as of last fall.
The story also said Dorfman's family likes the Bulldogs, which might give Josh a leg up when she has to pick from the bachelors.

FX's "Archer," created by two Atlantans and using several Atlanta actors as voices, is doing a live tour, stopping at the Tabernacle April 4.
H. Jon Benjamin, who voices Archer, will be there, along with Aisha Tyler (Lana Kane), Chris Parnell (Cyril Figgis), Atlanta's own Lucky Yates (Dr. Krieger) and co-creator Matt Thompson.
Here's Thompson's take on it via email.
Archer Live brings the main cast of Archer together on stage for two hours of drinking and joke throwing. It is a bit of a rambling wreck of a show depending on how drunk we get, but it is always funny. We have done about 20 of these now across the US and at every single one of them at some point I end up doubled over with laughter. I am excited that the show is finally coming to Atlanta.
The animated series last week received a green light for sixth and seventh seasons.

CBS renewed almost its entire lineup today on top of the three-season renewal for "The Big Bang Theory" yesterday and an earlier announcement about "Survivor." It's virtually every major show on the network: "NCIS," "Mike & Molly," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Criminal Minds," "The Good Wife," "Blue Bloods," "Amazing Race," "Undercover Boss," "Two Broke Girls," "Two and a Half Men," "Person of Interest," "Elementary," "Hawaii Five-O," "CSI" and "60 Minutes." Two newcomers made the cut: "Mom" and "The Millers."
This leaves just three on the potential chopping block: aging "Mentalist" and two freshman shows "Intelligence" starring North Georgia's Josh Holloway and Robin Williams' comedy "The Crazy Ones." Whether they survive may have a lot to do with what else CBS conjures up for 2014-15.
"How I Met Your Mother" concludes its eighth season March 31.
