Two series are going away forever: VH1's "Single Ladies" and USA's "Psych."
"Single Ladies," set in Atlanta, is leaving after three seasons Monday in a relatively unceremonious fashion, without any closure, leaving fans in a bit of a lurch.
USA's light-hearted "Psych" Wednesday is being treated with far more care after eight seasons of 1980s pop covers, pineapples and fake psychic. It is closing shop with Shawn closing shop. And USA will have a special after-show with the stars. (Flashback! The two main stars James Roday and Dule Hill visited the University of Georgia in 2010 and I got to interview them.)
Two hugely popular cable shows are finishing up their runs this season: Georgia-based "The Walking Dead" Sunday and "Duck Dynasty" Wednesday. Plus, TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," shot down in McIntyre, ends its third season Thursday.
