Six years ago, Newnan real estate agent DeAnna Pappas was "The Bachelorette" on ABC.

E! now says Atlanta may be represented again thanks to Andi Dorfman, a 26-year-old assistant district attorney. The network says it has multiple sources saying she is the leading candidate for the summer show. She is likable and smart and tells it like it is.

Dorfman, who works in Fulton County, voluntarily dropped out of the running to be "The Bachelor" Juan Pablo Galavis' mate in Tuesday's episode. Why? She just isn't into him after getting to know what a shallow jerk he really is. (Umm... isn't that the definition of almost all the "Bachelor" candidates?)

TMZ Friday received a copy of a letter from Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard allowing Dorfman an unpaid leave of absence until May 31 to pursue her reality show dreams.

Here's how E! explained it, since this is not a show I watch:

In tonight's dramatic episode of The Bachelor, Andi eliminated herself from the competition before the rose ceremony, automatically sending Clare and Nikki to the final two. Why? She called their time in the fantasy suite "a nightmare" and accused Juan Pablo of being "inappropriate." She also called him out for his constant "language barrier" defense. (Yes, it was pretty awesome.)

ABC won't formally confirm the next Bachelorette until March 10.
