It looks like the Moral Mondays Georgia movement will soon return to a Gold Dome near you.

A few days ago, we noticed that the movement that filled the Capitol with protesters most Mondays (and some Tuesdays) the last two years seemed to skip over the Gold Dome in 2016.

The effort, a coalition of progressive interests, once fueled enough protests to fill more than a dozen police wagons over the last two years. But in recent months, organizers seemed to cast their attention toward local issues and away from calls to expand Medicaid and boost the minimum wage.

That's about to change. We received a message in our inbox this week reporting that the group is on the comeback trail.

"We can not turn back now. Forward together!" it implored members.

The group expects to rally at the statehouse this coming Monday - Jan. 25.
