Gov. Nathan Deal's Facebook page has turned into a sounding board for critics of his vetoes of the two highest-profile measures approved this legislative session.
The two-term Republican has been on the receiving end of an outpouring of angst from conservatives activists upset at his rejection of "religious liberty" legislation that would have expanded legal protections for opponents of same-sex marriage and a "campus carry" measure that would have legalized firearms at public colleges.
And nowhere is that more visible than on his social media platform, where innocuous postings about his faith, an uptick in tourism and even Mother's Day have been hijacked by his critics. See for yourself.
