Michelle Nunn's prodigious fundraising reached new heights with a $4.15 million third quarter haul, according to the Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful's campaign.

Fundraising reports through Sept. 30 are due this week. The Nunn campaign did not reveal how much it spent -- it's bound to be a lot, given her heavy television advertising pace -- or how much cash it had on hand at the beginning of the month.

Among the big names helping Nunn rake in the dough before the end-of-September deadline were First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton -- the latter with Usher.

Republican David Perdue is expected to reveal a lucrative quarter of his own, as the Republican establishment in Georgia and Washington rallied behind Perdue following his July 22 primary runoff victory.

Nunn has raised $13.35 million since jumping into the race in July 2013, from more than 60,000 donors, putting her among the top Senate fundraisers in the country. The Nunn campaign reports that 75 percent of her donors have given $100 or less.

Here's Nunn's prepared statement on her fundraising efforts:

"I'm proud to stand with the ten of thousands of Georgians who have volunteered their time, organized  friends and neighbors to join together in house parties, and invested their own resources into building this campaign. Together, we are doing something different here in Georgia. We have built a truly people-powered, grassroots effort that harnesses the power and best ideas of our citizens.  Georgians tell me everyday they are tired of what's going on in Washington and our grassroots powered campaign is going to send DC a message on Election Day."
