Georgia 6th: GOP group airs Spanish-language ad targeting Ossoff

A super PAC with ties to House Speaker Paul Ryan released a Spanish-language TV ad targeting Democrat Jon Ossoff in Georgia's 6th District race.

The Congressional Leadership Fund's ad compares Ossoff to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, echoing attacks that GOP groups have lobbed at the Democrat throughout the race. It will air on Telemundo and Univision and is part of the group's $7 million spend in the district.

Ossoff faces Republican Karen Handel in a June 20 runoff that both parties are desperate to win. The district, which spans from east Cobb to north DeKalb, has long been in GOP hands but Democrats hope to capitalize on Donald Trump's struggles in the area.
