Stacey Abrams is getting some high-powered help for the early voting period that starts Monday.

The Democratic candidate for governor said actresses Tracee Ellis Ross, Rashida Jones and Niecy Nash will join the former House minority leader on the campaign trail for stops in Albany, Atlanta, and Middle Georgia. They are set to visit April 30 to launch the early voting period

“These brilliant women understand that our diversity is our strength, and that we must reach out to and uplift the voices of every community in order to create bold change in Georgia,” said Abrams.

In-person early voting starts Monday for a slew of statewide races on the May 22 primary ballot. Abrams faces former state Rep. Stacey Evans in the Democratic race. Five leading Republicans are clashing for the GOP nomination.
