It's day two of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, where it's felt like a lot of yesterday's events have overshadowed today's, from a frenzied eleventh-hour attempt to force a vote on the party rules to a plagiarism scandal.
Here are five things to watch tonight during a lineup the RNC is billing as "Make America Work Again":
1.Do any lingering questions about whether Melania Trump cribbed portions of her headlining speech last night spill out onto the convention floor? The Trump campaign and its allies, including former Georgia lawmaker Newt Gingrich, continue to dismiss criticism that two sections of Melania's address tack very closely to Michelle Obama's 2008 convention speech. News outlets like the New York Times, however, have pointed to internal discord about what exactly went down.
2. Have we heard the last from the "Never Trump" movement? Georgia's delegation has largely avoided the "Free the Delegates" fight, but there are rumblings that we could hear more, despite the group getting trampled in a floor fight over the convention rules yesterday. Mischief is possible during today's roll call vote for the nomination, per Politico.
3. If yesterday's rules fight is any indication, the party is still deeply divided over Trump. At many points yesterday, mutual hatred of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton seemed to be one of the only common denominators. Will any of the speakers tonight be able to capitalize off that or another message to help bring folks together?
4. The Trump campaign stoked criticism from prominent Ohio Republicans after top official Paul Manafort slammed Gov. John Kasich yesterday for steering clear of the convention and withholding an endorsement for his former opponent. Can Team Trump mend fences with the GOP in this key battleground state? Keep an eye on the delegation in the Quicken Loans arena. They're sitting directly stage left.
5. What will we see from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie? The former presidential candidate and prominent Trump ally was angling hard to be the real estate magnate's running mate. Will any of his disappointment come through during tonight's headlining address? What will his message be tonight and what will he say about VP pick Mike Pence in particular?
Also on the agenda tonight is fellow GOP candidate Ben Carson and a handful of Washington lawmakers, including Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Two of Trump's adult children are also scheduled to speak, as is the general manager of Trump Winery and UFC President Dana White.
