Donald Trump Jr. to make two stops in Georgia next week

Oct 6, 2016

Donald Trump hasn't visited Georgia since the summer. But his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is set to make two stops in Georgia next week.

We're told that Trump Jr. will hold fundraisers in Augusta and Atlanta on Oct. 14. It's not yet certain whether he'll have a public rally.

The 38-year-old has emerged as one of his father's closest advisers and top surrogates on the campaign trail, and he was recently dispatched to rev up Republicans in deep-blue Wisconsin.

He's also been at the center of a swirling controversy for some of his missteps, including a post on Twitter that compared a poisonous Skittle to "our Syrian refugee problem."
