As Republicans gather in Cleveland next week, they won't be alone.
Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee will be there, too, running a "counter convention" they're calling "Better Than This."
A Clinton campaign official, who was not authorized to speak on the record, says the Democratic operation will "amplify the idea that America is better than the divisive and dangerous rhetoric Donald Trump has offered us."
The anti-Trump convention will be held less than a mile from the where Republicans will gather to nominate Donald Trump as president and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as vice president.
DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz will lead the event along with a number of U.S. senators and representatives.
The Clinton campaign aide said they believe the RNC will deliver a boost to Democrats across the country.
"The Republican convention will be a great recruiting tool -- reminding voters how important it is to help Hillary Clinton make history and ensure that Donald Trump never takes the White House," she said.
