[Congrats to randomly chosen winner Cecilia Y. and thanks to all of the Shawn fans who participated!]

In the span of two years, Shawn Mendes has leapfrogged from unknown singer posting song covers on Vine to the guy with the No. 1 album in the country.

The full-length debut from the Canadian cutie, “Handwritten,” hit the top of the Billboard 200 its first week out, with sales of 119,000 copies.

A week before the album's release, Mendes brought his sold-out tour to Center Stage and while there, autographed some publicity photos.

Thanks to the crew at Universal-Republic Records, I have one of those autographed photos – framed, too! – to give away.

If you’d like to be entered to win the photo signed by Mr. “Life of the Party,” here’s the deal:

It isn't a prerequisite to enter, but if you use  Facebook   and/or  Twitter , I would greatly appreciate a follow.

Then, just zip me an email at  mruggieri@ajc.com  by noon Tuesday, April 28.

Please "Shawn Mendes photo" in the subject field. If you put anything else there, I won't see it when I sort the emails and you will have zero chance of winning. Please enter only once per email address.

I will randomly select a winner and post the name on this blog entry once I’ve received confirmation. If you are the winner, I will contact you directly.

Thanks for playing – and good luck!

Oh, and here's a little Shawn to keep you smiling:
