Tyrese, Monica headline R&B Super Jam coming to Atlanta

The R&B Super Jam spotlighting Tyrese, Monica, Joe, Total and Donnell Jones will hit Philips Arena on Oct. 28.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 via www.ticketmaster.com. Prices and show time are TBA.

The concert will be a hometown event for Monica, who hails from College Park. In an interview a few months ago before an Atlanta Hawks game, the “Angel of Mine” singer said, “We always keep our main home here. My mom is here, family is here. You just can’t leave Atlanta.”

Tyrese, who released his last album in 2015, is also well known for playing Roman Pearce in “The Fast and Furious” movies.
