Two public memorials will be held to honor the life dynamic soul singer Sharon Jones.

The vibrant performer, who passed away on Nov. 18 at the age of 60 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer, will be remembered in her dual hometowns of Brooklyn and Augusta.

For those in the New York area, a Brooklyn ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at Brown Memorial Baptist Church.

Fans who want to celebrate Jones' Augusta roots can attend the 1 p.m. Dec. 17 memorial at Imperial Theater (749 Broad Street).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jones's honor to the following organizations: The Lustgarten Foundation, James Brown Family Foundation and Little Kids Rock.
