The busiest man in showbiz, Ludacris, has added hosting duties to his blast of promotional rounds.

The Atlanta rapper will co-host the 2015 Billboard Music Awards with Chrissy Teigen on May 17. This is Luda’s second year emceeing the event.

The show will air live from the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. on ABC. Finalists for the awards will be announced April 7.

On Tuesday, Ludacris' long-awaited "Ludaversal" album arrives, featuring guest shots from Usher, Big K.R.I.T.. Miguel and Monica.

"Ludaversal" is the first new release from Ludacris in five years and drops a few days before his return to the screen in "Furious 7," which was filmed largely in Atlanta. The globe-trotting performer surprised fans at a local screening earlier this month (my colleague Jennifer Brett has the details ).

And Ludacris' personal life has been newsworthy recently as well – he and new wife Eudoxie are expecting a baby .
