Don Henley visited Atlanta last fall with a show to support "Cass County," his first solo album in 15 years.

The venerable singer-songwriter will return next year with a concert at the Fox Theatre on Jan. 22. JD & The Straight Shot will open the show.

An American Express card member pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Oct. 18 and runs through 10 p.m. Oct. 20. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Oct. 21 through www.foxtheatre.org, the Fox box office and by calling 1-855-285-8499. Ticket prices have not been announced.

While Henley is still supporting "Cass County," his set is also stocked with classics from the Eagles (following the death of Glenn Frey this year, Henley pronounced the Eagles essentially over ) and his storied solo career, which includes the classics "Boys of Summer" and "Heart of the Matter."
