Talk about a mega-star lineup.

It really isn’t an exaggeration to say that the Desert Trip concert scheduled this fall in Indio, Calif., will be a once in a lifetime experience.

On Oct. 7, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan will perform. On Oct. 8, Paul McCartney and Neil Young. And on Oct. 9, Roger Waters and The Who.

The event will take place at the Empire Polo club in Indio, the home of the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Passes will go on sale at 1 p.m. EST on May 9 at www.DesertTrip.com.

As expected, they’re a bit pricey. But again, look at the lineup.

A three-day general admission pass is $399. Reserved floor $699-$1,599. Reserved grandstand $999-$1,599. And standing pit is $1,599.

Single-day general admission passes are $199.

The weekend will also feature a food assortment from 40 renowned restaurants “from Los Angeles to New York.”
