Death Cab for Cutie has not only unveiled the new song, “Black Sun,” from its forthcoming eighth studio album, “Kintsugi.” The band has also announced a spring tour that will visit the Fox Theatre on April 27.

Death Cab for Cutie will release "Kintsugi" on March 31 – it's available for pre-order beginning Jan. 27 – and will perform "Black Sun" on David Letterman's late-night show Jan. 29 and "The Late Late Show" on Jan. 30.

Their North American tour will launch April 23 and hit Atlanta its third date.

Tickets for the April 27 show, which features The Antlers opening, are on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 30 for $35-$41. Tickets can be purchased at the venue box office, via www.foxtheatre.org or by calling 1-855-285-8499.

Fans can expect to see core members singer/guitarist Ben Gibbard, bassist Nick Harmer and drummer Jason McGerr, whose sound will be augmented by new touring members Dave Depper and Zac Rae, both of whom will contribute additional guitars and keyboards.
