Uncle Charlie Wilson proved at the BET Awards a couple of years ago that even at 62, he can party with the best of them.

Wilson, who will release his seventh solo album, “Forever Charlie,” on Jan. 27, will also bring his same-named tour to Philips Arena on Feb. 21.

The voice behind “You Are,” “There Goes My Baby” and “Charlie, Last Name Wilson” – along with a couple of dozen Gap Band hits – will be joined by Kem and Joe for this R&B fiesta.

Tickets for the Philips Arena date are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through www.ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, the Philips Arena box office and by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets are $49.50-$100.

Fans who pre-ordered "Forever Charlie" from the singer's official website currently have access to pre-sale tickets (more information at www.charliewilsonmusic.com).

American Express cardholders will also have access to a pre-sale beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Wilson was in Atlanta last year for a performance at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in September.
