Butch Walker will hit the Music Midtown stage at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16.

But the Georgia native will spend some time in town beforehand and play a special “Music Midtown After Hours” concert at the Tabernacle at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 15.

Walker will perform at the downstairs Cotton Club inside the venue. Tickets are $35 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (a pre-sale is sold out, but more tickets will be available for the general on-sale).

Walker’s most recent album, “Stay Gold,” featuring the first-pumping title track along with “East Coast Girl” and a lovely collaboration with Ashley Monroe, “Descending,” arrived in 2016.
