Sasha Fierce is back with “Formation."

The surprise new track from Beyonce, co-written by Mississippi's Rae Sremmurd – who live in Atlanta -- and produced by formidable Atlanta producer Mike Will Made It with his trademark sideways squiggles of sound, is a catchy mix of Southern swamp and sharp Beyonce attitude.

Sounding determined on lyrics such as, “They never take the country out me…I got hot sauce in my bag, swag,” “I go hard, get what’s mine,” and “I just might be a black Bill Gates in the making,” there is no questioning Beyonce’s steely attitude.

Now we wonder – will she perform the song – which samples New Orleans mainstay Big Freedia – on Sunday night’s Super Bowl halftime show?
