Charlie Wilson
"Uncle" Charlie Wilson is a regular presence in Atlanta and for good reason – people love him. Even though he packed Philips Arena at the beginning of the year with Fantasia and Johnny Gill, he's coming back to continue promoting his eighth studio album, "In It to Win It," that arrived in February. The album includes guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Pitbull and Robin Thicke, among others, and returned Wilson to the charts with the T.I. collaboration, "I'm Blessed."

Gary Clark Jr.
It's been a whirlwind summer for the Texas guitar maestro, having opened for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, My Morning Jacket and Eric Clapton (whom he will perform with again in September at Madison Square Garden), played a round of festivals and in between, landed a series of solo shows. Clark also released a live album in March. Joining him on the tour is fellow Austin soul-pop guitarist Jackie Venson, who just released the new single "Flying" from her upcoming fall album, "Transends." cq

Idina Menzel
The powerhouse singer last played Atlanta almost exactly two years ago, with a captivating show at Chastain . The star of "Wicked" and "Rent," who taught us how to "Let It Go," released her fifth solo studio album, "Idina," last fall. Her set list takes some creative liberties, such as mixing her guitar-focused "Cake" with Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog," and spotlighting covers by the Beatles and Paul Simon.

Brandi Carlisle
The Washington-based, alt-country star went a different route with her new album, “Cover Stories: Brandi Carlisle Celebrates 10 Years of the Story – An Album to Benefit War Child.” The charity album to benefit the organization War Child UK features artists such as Adele, The Avett Brothers, Indigo Girls and Dolly Parton performing songs from Carlisle’s 2007 highly lauded album, “The Story.” She’ll no doubt include many of those fan favorites in her set.

Corey Feldman & The Angels
Yes, it’s the Corey Feldman you think it is – the ‘80s-era actor known for “The Goonies” and “The Lost Boys.” This tour, dubbed “Corey’s Heavenly Tour: Angelic 2 The U.S.,” marks his first solo tour in 14 years. He’ll be joined by his all-female Angel Band as well as his wife, Courtney Anne, a DJ who performs at DJAC in the show. Feldman plans to play original songs from his solo albums and his films, as well as hits from the soundtracks that accompanied his best-known movies.

The Alarm
Though never a powerhouse in the U.S., the New Wave rock band fronted by well-coiffed singer Mike Peters achieved 17 Top 50 singles in its native U.K. and dabbled on the American charts with the mighty “68 Guns” and “Rain in the Summertime.” Peters departed the band in 1991, but returned to using The Alarm name in 2000. In the middle of the decade, he overcame a rare form of leukemia. Joining Peters in the current lineup are guitarist James Stevenson, bassist Craig Adams, keyboardist Mark Taylor and drummer Steve Barnard.

Barry Manilow
Despite saying farewell on a 2015 tour , the beloved songsmith is heading back to Atlanta on a tour to support his new album, "This Isis My Town: Songs of New York," which pays tribute to his Brooklyn upbringing. Tracks include the classics "On Broadway" and "Lonely Town" and original Manilow compositions, "Coney Island" and "On the Roof." The last time Manilow played the Fox was April 2002.
