SATURDAY

Mint Condition

The latest in the Affordable Old School Concert Series at Wolf Creek is topped by R&B smoothies Mint Condition, who hit their stride in the '90s with "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)," "U Send Me Swingin'" and "If You Love Me." The band's eighth studio album, "Music at the Speed of Light," arrived in 2012. The rest of the Old School lineup includes Juvenile, 8 Ball & MJG, Tweet and Bobby Brown, though it would be understandable if Brown dropped out, depending upon the condition of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who was recently moved to hospice care.

With Bobby Brown, Juvenile, 8 Ball & MJG and Tweet. 7 p.m. July 4. $35-$90 (advance) and $40-$95 (day of the show). This is an 18-and-older event. Wolf Creek Amphitheatre, 3024 Merk Road S.W., Atlanta. 1-877-725-8849, ticketalternative.com.

SUNDAY

World Party

It’s been nearly 30 years since Karl Wallinger departed the Waterboys to establish this alt-rock pet project. The 2012 release “Arkeology,” a massive collection of 70 songs across five discs, demonstrated the breadth of Wallinger’s productivity, especially since the release contains almost all previously unreleased material, including songs finished in 2011. World Party performed at the Variety in June 2014 as well, and delivered an 18-song set.

With Gabriel Kelley. 8 p.m. July 5. $22.50 (advance) and $25 (day of the show). Variety Playhouse, 1099 Euclid Ave. N.E., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
