Opinion: Welcome to 2018, which is starting off right

Remember what I said about 2018 needing to be better than 2017? So far, so good .

Yes, I am back.

My annual Christmas-and-New-Year's break was not terribly restful, and at times (such as during the afore-linked Rose Bowl Game) stressful, but it was rewarding all the same. I hope it was also rewarding for each of you.

We will soon get to the news of the day, from the unfriendly regime in Iran to the friendly skies here . But for now: Happy New Year, welcome back ... and go Dawgs!
